It is with deep sadness that the Audit Office of the Republic of Cyprus announces the passing away of the Deputy Auditor General of the Republic, Mr. George Kyriakides, on Monday, 6th December.
Mr. Kyriakides served the Audit Office from 1982, with exemplary dedication and diligence. In August 1998, he was appointed Deputy Auditor General.
Mr. Kyriakides’ death leaves an enormous void, not only in our Office, but also in our country. He was a competent and honest officer and a man with a deep sense of duty. He will be dearly missed.
